The media tend to portray pit bulls and most people think they are aggressive and intimidating dogs.
Certainly, if they have an aggressive owner who uses this dog to intimidate others, they can become unpredictable and threatening.
In most cases, a dog is the product of the way it was treated.
A baby named Masailah and pit bull Sasha are born a few days apart and spend every moment together, sometimes sharing a bed and even a bath.
Latana Chai, the mother living in California, had slept Masailah for seven months, and she was enjoying her courtyard on a hot summer’s evening.
That’s when Sasha started to behave strangely.
Then around midnight on that Saturday, Latana heard a loud noise.

When she opened the door to let in Sasha, she ran into Masailah’s room.
Then she noticed black smoke coming from the ceiling, a fire that was spreading from their neighbor’s house to theirs.
Latana ran to get her baby out of the house when she found Sasha taking Masailah by the diaper and pulling her safely.
She attributes to this kind and loyal family dog the merit of having saved the life of his baby who alerted them to danger with his barking.
“Thanks to Sasha, we were able to get out safely and call 911. We took everyone out of the house and made them safe. I owe my life and that of my children to Sasha. She saved us all. This is our heroine. Without it, we would probably never have left, “says Latana.
