4. Leptospirosis
Leptospirosis is an infectious disease that affects both animals and humans, and it can be passed from one to the other through your dog. It is caused by a variety of bacteria in dogs. Direct contact with other infected animals, consuming infected meat or feces, or coming into contact with anything contaminated by an infected animal’s urine are all ways to contract it.
