Fungal infections dog disease

While most fungal infections in dogs are minor annoyances, some can be highly serious and even fatal in some cases. Fungal infections that affect only a dog’s skin are readily treated, but those that affect the entire body, particularly if they spread to the lungs, liver, or brain, are hazardous. Histoplasmosis, blastomycosis, Valley Fever, and cryptococcosis are among the most lethal dog diseases caused by fungi.
